Michel Delving

A terminus with five platforms, extensive sidings also make the station an important freight depot. The motor-rail service from Bree terminates here, as do the Westmarch Link and local tram services. The entire station (with the exception of the old engine shed) was rebuilt during 1999 with minor changes to the track layout enabling longer platforms, more siding space and easier freight shunting. Of note is the network's only turntable at the west of the station. The West Delving Link development, completed in 2001, included the construction of a new engine shed to cater for large express engines. The old shed now caters for the smaller engines.
