8Single line constructed between Buckland and Bree, following route of East Road to avoid the Old Forest. Platforms constructed to the south and alongside Shire platform at Buckland. Line approaches Bree from the north.
9Staddle and Coombe Railway formed, based at Bree.
10Staddle branch constructed.
11Westmarch Railway formed, based at Michel Delving.
12Westmarch Railway constructs route from Grey Havens to its West Delving terminus.
13BRICK formed (consortium including B&BR and other investors). Single line constructed between Bree and Rivendell passing north around Bree and following the Great East Road, via Weathertop.
14New single track line constructed between Buckland and Bree through the Old Forest and across the Barrowdowns. This more direct route reaches Bree from the south west and new through platforms are built so that non-stopping trains to Rivendell no longer have to reverse.
15Westmarch Railway constructs West Delving Link from West Delving station to Michel Delving. Westmarch Railway renamed KronicWestmarch Railway.

16KronicWestmarch Railway constructs a double track line south of Michel Delving linking West Delving to Hobbiton, bypassing the single track bottleneck of the West Delving Link.
17KronicWestmarch Railway renamed Arthedain Railway and constructs route from Hobbiton north to Annuminas.
18Shire Railway, Buckland & Bree Railway and BRICK merge, in response to increasing commercial pressure from the Arthedain Railway. Company renamed Arnor Railway in a move of naming one-upmanship.
19Arnor Railway buys controlling stake in Staddle and Coombe Railway.
20The route from Buckland to Bree through the Old Forest and the Barrowdowns is upgraded to a high speed, double track line. Buckland station reconstructed.
21Line from Bree to Fornost constructed.
22The North Shire line from Hobbiton to Buckland is upgraded to a high speed, double track line.
23Construction starts on the Cardolan line, running south from Bree to Tharbad, generally following the North-South Road except in the north where it runs further east, passing close to the South Downs.
24Construction of line to Erynvorn. Route follows the Brandywine River towards the coast, serving the growing population along the Baranduin valley.
25Cardolan line reaches West Rohan at Helm's Deep.
26All railways nationalised. Arnor Railway and Arthedain Railway become part of the Middle Earth Railway (Eriador Region).
